I love coffee. Coffee makes me happy. And there is just not much that can't be accomplished over a good cup of coffee. It brings people together.
I roast specialty coffee to order here in New Braunfels, TX. I use my grandfather's art on my labels. (frankhigginsart.com) I use my grandmother's coffee cups to test each roast.
I started experimenting with roasting coffee at home a few years ago.
When the opportunity to buy an existing coffee roasting facility presented itself, I just couldn't pass it up. So I opened Friday Coffee Roasters in 2018. The name was inspired by a group of fantastic women who I used to meet with every Friday for coffee.
There are many studies proclaiming the health benefits of coffee, but I just know it lifts my spirits. And I hope it lifts your too.

A long time! When stored coffectly , coffee never goes "bad." It does lose flavor over time. Depending on the roast level, coffee is at it's peak beginning several days to a week after roast, to a month after roast. Most coffee in the grocery store has a "use by" date on the package. That date can be up to a year after the roast date.
